On my drive to work every day I travel through St. Bonifacius. A bit ago I started noticing a few trees that had dead spots. As the weeks went on, the disease spread on to more and more trees. What’s wrong with the trees?
I’ve thought of drought and chemicals but only parts of the trees are dying and the crops right next to the trees seem fine. They aren’t changing colors and the leaves aren’t falling off. So what’s happening?

are the crops that are growing in the area new? it could be excess fertiliser starting to have an effect on the trees but that should start on the new growth it may be a soil born pathogen or just a farmer that wants more growing room lol. without knowing the specific variety and species of the tree its hard to tell here in australia we have a horrendous problem with rizoctonia and mycellium ( excuse spelling if inncorrect)it happens when people cut down trees and do not grind out the stump it (the stump) becomes infected which can then spread for many many metres to affect another tree it virtually renders the soil useless until treated which is no easy job oh well enough waffle i hope this helps you sum ;o)
