When? July 4th at Dusk (approximately 10pm)

The fireworks will be shot off from the island again this year which means there are a lot of good viewing spots.

Good spots include
– Lake Waconia Regional Park
– Cedar Point Park
– Lola’s Lakehouse
– Or most anywhere on the lake

For the best view, grab your boat and view them from the lake.

We invite accomplished, amateur and wanna-be golfers to join us in this exciting scramble format, with plenty of opportunities to showcase your talent with fun games, challenges and exhibitions. Don’t golf? Don’t worry! There are plenty of other opportunities to be part of the action.

This weekend is the annual Waconia band festival.

You can catch it Saturday, June 19th at 6pm in downtown Waconia.

Bring your chairs, your kids, and your sunscreen and sit out and just enjoy the music.

The Carver County Fair is nearly here! This year it runs from August 5th to the 9th in Waconia.

2009 Waconia Band Festival

The 2009 Waconia Band Festival marches into town on Saturday June 20th.  Music will include everything from Cirque Du Soleil: Quidam to Beautiful Day by U2!

15 bands will compete to be the champion but only one will come out on top. Will it be Waconia? Champlin? Mankato? Be there to find out.

The parade route goes down main street in Waconia and the event is free to all. Get there early though as spots along the parade route fill up fast.

It’s a fun event for the whole family!
